Spring Chinook – Rogue River

Mid-March through June

The Rogue River Spring Chinook — often called the “River Wagyu” by our clients — is the most prized salmon run on the West Coast.

We begin the season near Gold Beach, running guided charters from our covered and heated jet boat as the first springers enter the river. When the fish migrate upriver, we move into Shady Cove, offering scenic drift boat floats in our custom Willie Drift Boats.

This is premium Oregon springer fishing at its finest — powerful fish, incredible scenery, and unforgettable days on the water.

Fall Chinook – Rogue Bay & Rogue River

June through October

The Rogue Bay is a legendary fishery where ocean-fresh Chinook stage for weeks, allowing daily pushes of new fish. These Kings range 15–40+ pounds and fight with incredible strength.

Join us aboard our jet boats for a full day of trolling for Rogue River salmon — perfect for families, groups, and anglers wanting consistent action all season long.

Chetco River – Fall Chinook

October through December

The Chetco River is famous for its emerald-green water and trophy-sized King Salmon. This river produces salmon over 40 pounds, with an average of 18–25 lbs.

Enjoy a relaxing drift down one of Oregon’s most beautiful fisheries with a very real chance at the fish of a lifetime.

Elk River – Fall Chinook

October through December

Flowing from pristine headwaters, the Elk River is a small, intimate fishery with an active hatchery program and consistent runs of big Kings. Fish over 35 pounds are common, and the average is around 20 lbs.

Fish the Elk from one of our drift boats and experience one of the most productive fall salmon fisheries in Oregon.

Sixes River – Fall Chinook

October through December

Just a short distance from the Elk, the Sixes River offers similar high-quality fish but with its own unique scenery and feel.

When water conditions are right, the Sixes produces exceptional salmon days. Techniques include:

  • Back-trolling plugs

  • Back-bouncing eggs

  • Light-tackle drift boat fishing on small water

A truly special fishery worth experiencing.

Port of Brookings – Ocean Salmon Trolling

Season TBD (June-August)

Ocean salmon fishing out of Brookings, Oregon can be some of the hottest action on the coast. Here, salmon from multiple rivers school together while chasing anchovy bait balls near shore.

This creates prime conditions for:

  • Aggressive strikes

  • Big, ocean-fresh Chinook

  • Fast-paced trolling or mooching action

When the bite turns on, it’s on — fish can be hooked right next to the boat.
